My grandma was one of my major influences to get involved in Feed My Starving Children. She packed so many meals and was so committed. In fact, after she passed away in 2016, I shared her story on a FMSC blog post in hopes that others would memorialize a loved one by volunteering. Story is linked below!

VOLUNTEERING
Growing up with a love of reading and writing, becoming an English major was a no-brainer for me. Now, I channel this love for the hand written communique as a volunteer for DARTS as a pen pal for second graders in the Twin Cities! I love sending and receiving letters and sparking creativity and engagement with young writers.
My other major community interest is with Feed my Starving Children. Not only am I OCD for packing meals, but you can really make such a difference with this simple act!
